When you are in contact with us, you may be requested to submit personal information, such as your email address. We will only collect and handle data that could be regarded as sensitive information with your consent. In such cases, we will delete the information as soon as the need for its storage is achieved, such as participation at an event.

The data/information we collect is used for the following purposes: To communicate and share information related to farm animal welfare; To respond to your inquiries; To send out requested materials or otherwise fulfill what we undertook in return for you submitting your information.
5. Legal Basis For Handling Your Personal Information
We do not always need your specific consent to process your personal information. For example, an e-mail contact from you generates information about you automatically (your e-mail and IP address). We do have a legitimate interest in saving this information in order to process your requirements. But we will ask for your consent if we want to have regular contact with you in connection to our activities, or if we want to collect and save other information, especially sensitive information or information from third parties. 6. Consent to Email Correspondence and Continued Communication
By agreeing to our processing of your personal data for the purposes stated above, you agree: That we process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy; That we may contact you via e-mail regarding our consulting services.
7. How Long Your Data is Kept
We only process personal data for as long as it takes to fulfill the purpose of its collection, after which we delete the data. If you have an active dialogue with us, your data is stored for 24 months from the latest interaction; then we clear the data we have registered about you. An active dialogue means having interacted with Farm Welfare Consulting, or representatives from Farm Welfare Consulting, via telephone, or emails, by registering via a form, during the last 24 months. If you have agreed to the processing of your personal data in connection with your acceptance of regular mailings to you, then we continue to process your personal data until you unsubscribe to mailings. We will then be unable to contact you by way of the previously registered contact information. If you are employed by a company we process your data until (1) you have terminated your employment with the company, or (2) the company no longer has an active relationship with us. Once a relationship has ceased, the storing and processing of your data will be handled according to the terms described in the two paragraphs above. If you terminate your employment with the company, you are responsible for notifying us at the specified contact details, and we will clear your data immediately.
8. Who Can Access the Data
Submitted data is available to a limited number of people within Farm Welfare Consulting who work with communications and provide consulting services.
9. Where the Data is Stored
The data is stored either on our own servers or on behalf of Farm Welfare Consulting partners with whom we have a personal information agreement. This is necessary in order to ensure our normal business efficiency. The personal information agreements detail how the information is protected against unauthorized access, destruction and disclosure.

You are entitled to receive a complete extract of the data we have about you. You may also request us to correct incorrect data or delete data about you.
